Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Overview
This policy applies to physical products sold directly by Haltflame. For services such as installation, maintenance, and consultation, please refer to Section 7.
2. Returns of Physical Products
We have a 14-day return policy for physical products, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

The item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, uninstalled, and unaltered.

The item must be in its original packaging, complete with all manuals, accessories, and documentation.
 - 
For products like fire extinguishers, alarms, or suppression systems, all safety seals, pins, and tamper indicators must be intact and unbroken.
 - 
You must have the receipt or proof of purchase.
 
3. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, you must contact us first at info@haltflame.com or call us at one of our contact numbers. Please provide your order number and the reason for the return.
If your return is accepted, we will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
4. Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:

Custom-ordered or specially configured fire suppression systems.

Products that have been installed, used, or activated.
 - 
Items with broken safety seals or missing parts.
 - 
Hazardous materials.
 - 
Clearance or final sale items.
 - 
Services that have already been performed (see Section 7).
 
5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. Please provide your order number and photographic evidence of the issue. We will evaluate the issue and arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including any shipping costs.
6. Refunds
Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we will notify you if the refund was approved or not.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time (typically 10-15 business days) for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. The cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund.
 - 
A restocking fee may be applied to certain returns to cover processing and inspection costs. This will be communicated to you during the return authorization process.
 
The customer is responsible for paying for the shipping costs for returning an item. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
7. Policy for Services (Installation, Consultation, Maintenance)

Fees for services such as consultation, site inspection, installation, and maintenance are non-refundable once the service has been completed.

If you need to cancel a scheduled service, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
